She also has niche experience in advising on Islamic structures, derivatives, collective investment schemes, payment systems and payment instruments.

Financial Services
• Advising foreign financial institutions on applicable foreign exchange policy requirements, in particular in relation to the conduct of foreign exchange business.
• Drafting template terms and conditions for banking services of a new digital bank.
• Advising foreign institutions on reach-in and onshore activities relating to offerings of securities and digital assets in Malaysia.
• Advising on the regulation of-
– payment systems and electronic trading platforms
– financial institutions, both Islamic and conventional, including requirements on their shareholders
– offering of securities (including collective investment schemes, securities borrowing and lending)
– capital market services and intermediaries
– conventional and Islamic derivatives.
• Being actively involved in the firm’s issue of the Malaysian jurisdictional opinions to the International Swaps and Derivatives Association Inc., the International Capital Market Association, the International Securities Lending Association and the Futures Industry Association, respectively.
• One of the key persons involved in advising a client in respect of its application to Bank Negara Malaysia for a licence to conduct digital banking business under the Financial Services Act 2013, pursuant to which the client is one of the successful applicants.
