Global Network

The many robust relationships that Shearn Delamore & Co has within our wide global network provide our clients with the reach and resources to further their commercial interests. We are particularly proud of our memberships in the World Law Group, World Services Group and Employment Law Alliance.

Formed in 1988, World Law Group (“WLG”) is a global alliance of leading independent law firms. The quality of its member firms sets WLG apart from other law firm networks. The vast majority of members are consistently recognised by clients and peers as “top tier” across a comprehensive range of practice and industry areas. Membership is by invitation only, and members are only admitted after careful due diligence to ensure they meet the high standards of the network. Regular member reviews are conducted to maintain this quality. Twice yearly conferences enable lawyers to develop and deepen strong personal relationships. Those relationships enable members to call any WLG colleague at any time to get prompt action, and members adhere to a 24-hour response policy. With more than 18,000 legal professionals in 85 countries, WLG provides requisite experience, local savvy and practical solutions to international and domestic organisations around the world.

The World Services Group (“WSG”) brings together leading state, national and international professional services firms and companies with the highest business reputation. The group has more than 130 member firms of more than 19,000 professionals spanning over 145 countries. WSG membership is primarily by invitation. Nominations are made to regional members by existing members to seek further representation of a specific service industry. The group’s objective is to provide members with referrals and opportunities for collaboration, as well as to connect members with similar interests and client needs.

The Employment Law Alliance (“ELA”) is the world’s largest network of labour and employment lawyers. With leading employment, labour, and immigration attorneys in more than 100 countries, all the 50 U.S. states and every Canadian province, the ELA provides multi-national companies with seamless and cost-effective services worldwide. International businesses benefit from the ELA’s reach and deep familiarity with both local laws and local courts. Clients also appreciate a single point of contact, consolidated invoicing, and regional billing rates.
