On 3 July 2019, our Partner Ms Janet Toh and Senior Legal Associate Ms Lee Chiao Ying delivered an insightful session on the topic “Uncovering and Acting Upon Trade Secrets Theft” at the Malaysian Corporate Counsel Conference 2019, organised by MySeminars and hosted by The Legal Review. The conference was held at Double Tree Kuala Lumpur.
The session addressed topics such as the legal framework governing trade secrets in Malaysia, best practices on how to protect one’s trade secrets, how a breach of confidential information arises, practical ways in preventing trade secrets theft and the social media dilemmas in a trade secrets context.
