Shearn Delamore & Co. is committed to supporting and participating in various programmes organised by international and local professional and trade associations. Amongst these initiatives are hosting the annual conference organised by the World Law Group and World Services Group respectively.

Shearn Delamore & Co. had the honour of hosting the World Law Group's 30th Conference in Kuala Lumpur in September 2002. Sixty-four leading lawyers from twenty-eight countries attended the event.

Formed in 1988, the World Law Group is a network of forty-eight leading independent law firms located in major commercial cities in thirty-seven countries of the world, from Europe to Asia to Africa and America. The member firms provide focused, cost-efficient legal service, and advice to both their domestic clients and to their international clients. Membership in the World Law Group is by invitation only, and potential member firms are carefully screened to ensure that they meet the high standards of the group.

For further information, please visit www.theworldlawgroup.com.

We also co-hosted the World Services Group Asia Pacific Regional Meeting held in Singapore in October 2007. World Services Group is the global network that brings together the full spectrum of the leading professional services firms and companies to meet clients' needs. WSG members are prominent state, national and international firms with the highest reputation within the business community. They have more than 15,000 professionals in 400 offices spanning over 120 countries.

Membership in the WSG is primarily by invitation. Nominations are made to regional members by existing members for representation of a specific service industry. Their objective is to provide members with referrals and collaborations by continually developing new methods to interconnect its members with similar interests and client needs.

The Employment Law Alliance (ELA) is the world's largest network of labor and employment lawyers. With leading employment, labor, and immigration attorneys in more than 120 countries, all 50 U.S. states and every Canadian province, the ELA provides multi-state and multi-national companies seamless and cost-effective services worldwide. International businesses benefit from the ELA’s reach and deep familiarity with both the local laws and the local courts. Clients also appreciate a single point of contact, consolidated invoicing, and regional billing rates.
